Piping is a lovely touch to your bakes, but there can be difficulties like the mix coming out the top, or the icing is messy. Here is how to get it right first time.
You will need:
- A piping bag
- A piping tip
- Scissors
- Your icing
First, put in your icing tip into the piping bag (the piping bag should be cut at the bottom, using the scissors, according to the size of your tip). Spoon some icing into your piping bag. Then you twist the top of the bag so it’s tight and all the icing is pushed down nearer to the tip. When piping, keep the top of the bag twisted (so squeeze it tight), and make the shape you wish.
