It is nearly Easter! Even though we will be spending it inside (like last year) we can still make the most of it! This Easter garden cake is very impressive, and really fun to make.

For the cake: You can choose if it is a chocolate or vanilla sponge, if you click |HERE| there is a layer to my mix and match cake, so you can choose the sponge. Use a square cake tin.

For the icing:
Ingredients:
- 1 pack chocolate biscuits
- 1 tub of vanilla icing
- 1 tub of chocolate icing
- green gel food colour
- orange gel food colour
- 500g fondant
- Marshmallows
- Food markers

Crush the chocolate biscuits, and set aside. On the cooled cake, spread the chocolate icing, but only on top not the sides, then sprinkle on the biscuit crumbs. Dye the vanilla icing with the green food colouring. Get a piping bag, and use toothpicks to poke little holes around the end of it (where the tip would be). But don’t cut it for a tip, with the little holes it will look like grass. Add the green coloured icing in the piping bag, and pipe around the edge of the cake and a line in the centre.
To make the carrots, dye some fondant green and some orange, and make the orange fondant into little circles, and then make the green fondant into little spikes to look like the top.
To make the bunnies, draw a bunny face on a marshmallow using a food marker and chop a marshmallow into quarters for the ears. Use icing to stick two ears, and then you have a bunny, make as many as you need.
Add the carrots and bunnies on the cake as you wish.
ENJOY!
